A huge thank you to everyone who helped or attended ABC on the 29th November. It was a fabulous evening with loads of community spirit all whilst raising money to support the maintenance of the hall. We’ll try and organise more regular meet ups through 2026 so watch out for the dates being announced soon!.

Highway improvement works along Arthington Lance between Creskeld Lane to Black Hill Road are due to be taking place between the 6th February and the 2nd March 2026. The work will consist of footway resurfacing and carriageway drainage improvements; all in preparation of a future carriageway construction scheme.

To minimise traffic disruption, work will take place between 09:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday only and temporary traffic lights will be in place whilst work is ongoing.

 It is hoped there will be minimal disruption to vehicular accesses for properties and every attempt to reduce any disruption will be made.
